I am happy to announce that Ripley County has successfully completed its renewal to be StormReady. Ripley County has been StormReady since 2015 and the National Weather Service now requires renewal every 4 years. Only 4 counties in District 9 have this status. Rich Corkhum, EMA Weather Liaison/Admin Assistant, was very instrumental in making this happen as it is because of his work we have such a great working relationship with our partners at the National Weather Service in Wilmington OH. Additional information on the StormReady program can be found at https://www.weather.gov/stormready/
